We hope you enjoyed yourself and will also enjoy your birch syrup!

Here are a few of our favourite birch syrup recipes

Candied Walnuts with Birch Syrup

Add walnuts, syrup and a bit of butter to a heated skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until syrup is caramelized and nuts are toasted, about 3 minutes. Delicious in salads or on goat cheese!

Birch Syrup Glaze

Birch syrup makes an excellent glaze for vegetables, salmon, and chicken. Our favourite it using it to glaze carrots, squash and brussel sprouts. We usually follow recipes that call for maple syrup and simply swap in the birch syrup.

Birch Syrup Sweetened Coffee

With a slightly bitter flavour, birch syrup makes a great natural coffee sweetener! Add it to your next cup to taste.

Baked Brie with Birch Syrup

Sprinkle the brie wheel with walnut and drizzle with birch syrup before placing in preheated oven and baking at 350 degrees F until the cheese warms and softens, about 5-7 minutes. Serve cheese with slices of fresh bread.

Birch Syrup Whipping Cream

This is an easy way to add a little flavour to fresh whipping cream! Start whipping your cream and, as it begins to fluff, add about a teaspoon of birch syrup or to taste. Finish whipping the cream and serve!

Vanilla Ice Cream with Birch Syrup

Make your own birch syrup vanilla ice cream or drizzle birch syrup over vanilla ice cream next time you have some!

With Love,

Curniss and Chris
